Founding (2042-2049)

Elesmiao Magocracy (Urrimiao Magocracy In Miaotir), in 2049 at its foundation.

In 2042 the Archimage Hemexi II, of the Urrimiao Magocracy is forced out of Urris by Naflar; who had seized all power over Urris. Hemexi II, fled to Miaotir followed by no more than five hundreds, mostly soldiers or mages. They traveled throughout eastern Miaotir, until they arrived to the Lerimiao territories, with which they struck an alliance against the Mirmiao. Hemexi II, finally settled in 2049, founding the city of Miaolti.

Urrimiao Magocracy in Miaotir (2049-2210)

In the following two centuries the situation was mostly stable, only punctuated by skirmishes with the Mirmiao. The following Archimages maintained their alliances with the Lerimiao and Faomiao. And helped in creating permanent settlements along the rivers. In 2130 the Archimage Pofne tried to retake Urris with the help of the other two Miao archimages in exile, without success. However, the casualties were extremely high, after the war the population of the Magocracy was halved and the Archimage died in battle.

Elesmiao Magocracy, in 2750

Early Elesmiao Magocracy (2210-2983)

The Archimage converted to Elessenism in 2210, he permitted the creation of the Eles Theocracy in the Faomiao territiories. Thus the name was changed to the Elesmiao Magocracy

Elesmiao Magocracy in 2500

The Zihòmac magocracy expanded northwards between 2300 and 2500, it never went at war with the Elesmiao. However it expulsed the Macrom and Lerimiao Tribes from their territories, pushing them north and west. They collided with the Mirmiao and the Elesmiao Magocracy. The Mirmiao and Macrom, tried to push inside the Elesmiao border but were harshly repressed. To better resist against the Mirmiao, part of the Lerimiao formed the Vimbi Kingdom on the Mibfoc in 2473.

The war with the Mirmiao continued for centuries, between 2500 and 2600 the Archimages pushed north, however they weren't able to keep their territories, the Lerimiao that occupied part of those territories founded the Ixinde, Rillen and Vesmbi Kingodoms. In 2623 the Archimage also had to give more independence to the Ponpi and Vonzie principalites.

In 2710, the Robimecim arrived from the Siemetv (pushed away by the Amieve Empire). They occupied territories of Miao tribes in the west. In response to the invasion, the Archimage helped founding the Mahdren and Pundea Kingdoms by Lerimiao and Inziao tribes.

In 2812 a campaign against the free Macrom tribes living enclaved inside the magocracy was started, the territories were all conquered in 10 years, the Macrom were enslaved and the territories settled by Miao.

Golden Age (2983-3450)

In 2983, the Archimage annexed back the Ponpi and Vonzie Principalities. In the following decade it expanded its territories along the lower Mibfoc, and north. With the help of the Xao Empire the Mirmiao were forced out of their west and south territories. In 2993 the Archimage gave control of the recently conquered south-western Mirmiao territories, to Persham Atliv, creating the Atlivi principality. Persham persecuted the Mirmiao in his principality even more than they were in the Magocracy.

Between 3005 and 3053 the magocracy expanded northwards, fighting with the Lazzam Empire, the Kiao Oligarchy and the Errac Tribes.

In 3127, Elesmiao allied with the Intez Magocracy against the Lazzam Empire. However Miltu and its territories were taken by the Empire with part of Elesmiao northern territories.

The Elesmiao Magocracy in 3000 AA

In 3221, following the civil war in the Lazzam Empire, the Elesmiao magocracy took back Teppem and Miltu. In 2253 the Archimage started a campaign against the Kingdom of Lunzia, and also conquered the neighbouring Tulc territories and Kiaovim from the Smu Duchy.

In 3230 the archimage conquered Birbor from the Fao Kingdom. The Archimage of Kallami, whose territories were conquered by the Micium Urris Magocracy, sought help in the Elesmiao Magocracy. The two archimages conquered the coastal oligarchies and established the Aoner Magocracy, with Listia as its capital in 3260. In 3260 Elesmiao ceded Birbor and the surrounding territories to Aoner. Then it helped Aoner conquer the Vlevle Theocracy in 3271.

In 3344 a series of reforms annexed the Atlivi Principality, Mahdren Kingdom and Simmiao Kingdom while also tightening the power of the Archimage over all territories. The capital was moved from Miaolti to Mibfiao. The Magocracy arrived at its maximal expansion and a century of peace followed.

In 3437, the Xao Empire separated in the Lixao and Lompuxiao Empires. Elesmiao allied with Lompuxiao in the following war between the two, it ended in 3444, with the Elesmiao annexing the the cities Bliddao and Tibecia .

Fall (3450-3526)

In 3471 the Second Lazzam Empire conquered Vlizia, Inzia and Kiaovim. The Elesmiao responded in 3491 but was only able to retake Kiaovim. In 3509 Elesmiao ceded Disdovila to the Aoner Magocracy in exchange for help for another campaign against the Lazzam Empire, however it was unsuccessful, the Lazzam Empire even gained some territories. The same year the Lixao Empire invaded Bliddao, the Prince's guarrison destroyed the city while fleeing. However the Elesmiao and Aoner armies pushed the Lixao back in 3511.

In the following years the Archimage faced growing struggles in controlling the vast territories. In 3516 taxes on river trade were raised and the canalization of the Mibfoc was halted. This allowed the Archimage Nelasia to fortify its Western border, to protect against the Siemetv Great Clan. The Archimage also solidified its alliances with the Amestin Empire and the Aoner magocracy by granting them control of ocean trading (merchants from Elesmiao could not trade overseas) The merchants of Miaolti, Nirta and Vesbomio, unhappy with these reforms organized a revolt in 3519. This sparked during that year a series of revolts across all the Magocracy when Macrom and Robimecim slaves joined the fight, splitting the Archimage forces. At the same time the Great Clan of The Siemetv controlled the Atram principalities and sent raids to Elesmiao western cities. Moreover, the Robimecim tribes fleeing the Clan from the Voditram principality, attacked Acaviao and Gidiao.

In 3520 the merchants using incendiary barges, took control of the cities Miaolti and Nirta. This Flaming Barge Revolution, made Nelasia realize its power was really in danger. Thus they fled to Zontiao, there its armies (that weren't holding the Clan in the West) regrouped. Meanwhile, the Macrom successfully took control of their lands.

In the following years the Great Clan and Robimecim tribes advanced in Elesmiao lands. The Robimecim took Vesbomio in 3521 with the help of the citizens, in response the Archimage stuck a pact with the Mirmiao. They came from the North and quickly conquered Vesbomio and Nirta. The Mirmiao took the rebels as prisoners and sacrified them at the Great Temple of Mir. The Miaolti Prince took this chance to retake his city.

The Elesmiao magocracy, in 3519 before the Flaming Barge Revolution

In the west the Great Clan of The Siemetv launched a massive offensive, taking Tibecia and burning Bist. In 3522, the rebellion seemingly stopped, all the armies of Elesmiao and Aoner moved to the west and there they faced the Clan, or in the North were Miltu and Northern principalities declared their independence. Nelasia was defeated at multiple battles and lost even more cities (Acaviao, Gidiao, Viplis, Biaofan). The Clan was finally pushed back in Eskola in 3525.

That same year the rebel forces marched on Miaolti killing, the prince. They went up the Mibfoc river and conquered Nirta. They faced the Elsemiao and Aoner armies in Mibfiao and sieged the city taking it in 3526. The Mialof Republic was officially founded that same year, while Nelasia fled back to Zontiao.

The western territories of the Magocracy fell under the Republic (Tillalti, Lestimio, Eskola), or declared their independence ( Ponpi, Ixtec, Ixmac, Vluxao, Erdiao, Atlivi Principalities) . The war with the Republic continued, the Magocracy lost Kiaovim in 3529, the newly created Republic of Kiaovim took Nao and Mibfin in the next year, while the Mialof Republic took Mibsimola. In 3530 it lost Teppem, when it formed another independent republic. In 3532, with its territories cornered, Nelasia sought divine help, by going to The Great Temple of Eles and washing in the river. However, the priests of Eles poisoned the waters and Nelasia died, without having chosen a successor. The Archimage Council voted in 3535 to let the Mialof Republic choose the successor. With that decision, the remaining territories of the Elesmiao Magocracy fell under control of the Aoner Magocracy.
